The Athletic reports raore is now attracting interest from clubs eager to strike up a deal for the Burkina Faso international.
Turkish side Fenerbahçe have contacted Villa regarding a loan move for the player.
Traore, 26, played just 220 minutes for Villa across nine appearances in the Premier League last season as both injuries to his hamstring and international duty disrupted his domestic campaign with Villa.
