UCL final: Ancelotti reveals only doubt about Real Madrid’s XI against Liverpool

Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti, has revealed his only doubt about his side’s starting XI to face Liverpool in the Champions League final.

Real Madrid will on May 28 clash with Liverpool in the Champions League final in Paris.

The LaLiga champions qualified for the Champions League final after eliminating Manchester City in the last four earlier this month, while Liverpool defeated Villarreal.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference ahead of Real Madrid’s LaLiga tie against Real Betis on Friday night, Ancelotti said, “I have no doubts about the starting XI in Paris.

“My only doubt is about who will play a more important part, those who start or those who finish the game.”

He added, “It’s true that they are still fighting for the league title,” Ancelotti responded when asked whose position he’d rather be in.

“We have had more time to think about this game. But we have not thought about it and we won’t until Monday.

“But we’ve got everything ready. Real Madrid fans are excited about the Champions League final and we want to win the 14th. Nothing else.”
