Mbappe’s mother clears air on PSG forward signing new contract

 

Kylian Mbappe’s mother, Fayza Lamari, has denied claims that her son is set to stay at Paris Saint-Germain after agreeing on a contract extension with the French Ligue 1 champions.

Reports had earlier emerged in France that Mbappe is closer to renewing his contract with PSG.

It added that there was also a loyalty bonus of 100 million euros when Mbappe signed the contract. In addition, PSG had convinced him by presenting an ambitious sporting project.

However, according to Lamari, the report is completely false.

“It is completely false that Kylian has renewed,” she told MARCA while also signalling that Real Madrid are “his first option”.

Mbappe’s current contract with PSG will expire at the end of the season.

He is widely expected to join Real Madrid this summer.
