I don’t know how he did it’ – Crooks hails Everton star after win over Chelsea

Former Tottenham Hotspur forward, Garth Crooks has hailed Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford for his performance against Chelsea on Sunday.

Pickford was brilliant for Frank Lampard’s side as they defeated Chelsea 1-0 in a Premier League tie at Goodison Park.

Richarlison scored the only goal of the match in the 46th minute, but it was Pickford’s brilliance that secured all three points for Everton against Chelsea.

Pickford’s saves from Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger and Mateo Kovacic were particularly outstanding, with four of his five stops coming from inside the penalty box.

Pickford kept a clean sheet, but I don’t know how he did it,” Crooks told the BBC.

“The Everton keeper made two of the most remarkable saves to clinch a vital victory for the Toffees,” he said.
