Erik ten Hag identifies four Man United players with ‘bright future’

Incoming Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has taken early decision on four players of the club.

These players are Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Elanga and Scott McTominay and the Dutchman is said to have seen bright future in them.

Ten Hag is confident he can raise the performance levels of these players when he arrives at the club in the summer.

The 52-year-old is now set to take up his role at Old Trafford after guiding Ajax to the Eredivisie title last week with the final game of the league season to be played today.

Manchester United would see as many as 10 players leaving this summer with major changes set to take place in the coming months.

The Dutchman is reportedly keen on signing a centre-half, two midfielders and a versatile forward before the new season.

But while new faces are expected at Old Trafford, the new manager is also convinced he can improve some of the club’s younger stars on the training pitch, according to The Mirror.

The report names Sancho, Rashford, McTominay and Elanga as the players ten Hag is eager to work with.

Ten Hag could be in London next week to watch Manchester United’s last game of the season against Crystal Palace.

United are currently sat in sixth place with just one fixture of the season remaining.
