EPL: Ten Hag tells Man Utd to sign N’Golo Kante from Chelsea

New Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has asked the club to sign N’Golo Kante from Chelsea, the UK Mirror reports.

Kante has one year left on his current contract with the Blues.

And Ten Hag feels the 31-year-old has the experience and ability to help young players at Old Trafford.

Kante moved to Chelsea in 2016 in a £32million deal from Leicester weeks after winning the Premier League title.

United believe the World Cup winner is a realistic target, with Thomas Tuchel expected to make changes once he is handed a sizeable transfer budget by new owner, Todd Boehly when his £4.25billion takeover has been rubber-stamped by the government and Premier League officials.

Ten Hag has also been linked with moves for Monaco youngster Aurelien Tchouameni and Barcelona’s former Ajax star Frenkie de Jong.

West Ham’s England star Declan Rice has also been linked with a switch to United, although the huge £150 million being demanded by the Hammers might be too much.
