EPL: Peter Crouch names key area where Tottenham vs Arsenal match will be ‘won and lost’

Former Liverpool striker, Peter Crouch has revealed the key area where Thursday’s Premier League north London derby between Tottenham and Arsenal will be ‘won and lost’.

Arsenal are currently in the fourth position on the Premier League table with four points ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham and only one behind Chelsea, who sit in the third position.

Tottenham, meanwhile, must win when the Gunners visit them to keep their Champions League qualification hopes in their own hands

Speaking during an interview with the Daily Mail, Crouch was asked about the key battle in the derby, he said: “Whoever is looking after [Harry] Kane and Son [Heung-min]!

“That is the area of the pitch where this is won and lost because those two can take a game away from anyone.

“Son is criminally underrated – he’s up there with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.”

Son has been in devastating form this season.

He has reached 20 goals in a single Premier League season for the first time in 2021-22.

Kane, meanwhile, began the season slowly but is now on 13 goals from 34 outings in the league.
