Chelsea fear Mason Mount could be lured away by Liverpool or Manchester City, according to The Sun on Sunday.
The European champions are in the process of being sold by owner Roman Abramovich, and they are reported to believe their Premier League rivals could take advantage of that fact.
Mount is said to be one of Chelsea's lowest-paid players on £70,000 per week and has just over two years remaining on his deal.
The sanctions placed on the Blues mean that have been unable to offer the England international a new contract, and Liverpool and City are reported to be watching closely.
