David Moyes has revealed there is "no panic" to get Declan Rice signed up to a new contract at West Ham.
Rushhoursport revealed this week that the Hammers have no intention to sell Rice, despite interest from the Premier League's elite clubs.
Moyes rubbished reports that Rice had in fact rejected a new contract at the club, but says signing the star midfielder to a deal is not a priority for the club.
Speaking after West Ham's 1-0 defeat to Chelsea, Moyes said: “We’ve said what we think so we like Dec and he’s got three and a half years to go on his contract so there’s no panic.
“We’ve said before and we got no intention of selling so I don’t know why you keep asking me. We’ve got him on a three-and-a-half year contract, we’ve got bigger priorities which is to add to the squad.”
