Liverpool vs Man United: Rangnick reacts as Bruno Fernandes escapes death

 


Manchester United interim manager, Ralf Rangnkick, has said that Bruno Fernandes is fine after the midfielder was involved in a car crash ahead of his side’s Premier League tie with Liverpool on Tuesday night.

Fernandes got involved in a car crash on Monday morning ahead of the Liverpool fixture at Anfield.

Pictures from the incident show significant damage to the passenger side of Fernandes’ left-hand drive Porsche.

However, the Portugal international is believed to have escaped any serious injury from the incident and took part in Man United’s training session on Monday.

Speaking on the development ahead of Man United’s Premier League tie with Liverpool, Rangnick said at his pre-match press conference that Fernandes is ‘OK’ to feature against Liverpool.

The German said, “Yes, he [Ferandes] was training with the team obviously, the accident happened on the way to Carrington.

“As far as I know, no one was injured. He was ok and he will be ok for tomorrow.”
