Matt Judge has resigned as Manchester United's director of football negotiations.
Judge played an important role supporting former executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and latterly football director John Murtough in transfer strategy and deals at Old Trafford.
It is understood the change in leadership, structure and approach meant it was an appropriate time for Judge to look at his career plans for the long term.
Murtough already has strategic leadership of football recruitment and he will be supported going forward by the club's recruitment and legal teams.
