EPL: Rangnick reveals number of new players Man United will sign after 4-0 defeat to Liverpool

Manchester United interim boss, Ralf Rangnick has said that he would need to sign six to ten new players in order to achieve his style of football.

Rangnick admitted that Liverpool were far better than Manchester United after the Reds demolished his side 4-0 on Tuesday.

The German compared Liverpool players to Formula One racing cars, before adding that “For me, it is clear there will be six, seven, eight, maybe ten new players. Before you sign those players, you need to be aware of how you want to play.”

Two goals from Mohamed Salah and one each from Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane were enough to condemn Ralf Rangnick’s side to another heavy defeat.

“They have 25 Formula One racing cars in their squad,” the former RB Leipzig boss told the press after the game.

“If you analyse the situation, it is not difficult to analyse,” he said.
