EPL: Ex-Man United star, Louis Saha picks Rudiger’s replacement at Chelsea

Former Premier League striker, Louis Saha has identified Jules Kounde as Chelsea’s possible replacement for departing Antonio Rudiger this summer.

German defender, Rudiger has concluded plans to join Real Madrid from Chelsea as a free agent this summer.

Now the Blues are considering their options to replace the Germany international and Saha sees Kounde as the perfect addition.

The £50 valued Sevilla and France star Kounde, has previously been linked with Thomas Tuchel’s side.

“He’s a very smart lad, he’s been a top defender for his club side and the national team,” Saha told Gambling Deal, via Metro, while talking about the possibility of Chelsea signing the France international.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if he joined Chelsea, as they are always looking to strengthen and he is a fantastic young player. He wouldn’t have any issues adapting to the league, maybe a few months, but he’d be a great addition.

“Both Jules and Tony have different styles, Rudiger is a bit more aggressive on 50/50s,” he said.
