EPL: Antonio Conte names team to finish top four ahead of Tottenham

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte believes Arsenal still have an advantage in the race to finish in the top four ahead of his team.

The Italian manager did not also rule out the chances of Manchester United, Wolves and West Ham United qualifying for the Champions League next season.

Tottenham are fourth in the table at the moment though Arsenal are only three points behind them and crucially have a game in hand.

Conte said his problem is not for Tottenham to displace Chelsea in third position and feels his side still has a mammoth battle on their hands to secure top-four finish.

Addressing the press on Thursday the former Chelsea boss was asked if Spurs could push Chelsea.

“But I think first of all we have to think to ourselves and to look to ourselves and not the other opponents,” he said.

“Arsenal have one more game in their hand than us.

“But it is not just Arsenal in this race, there is Arsenal, Manchester United, West Ham, Wolves.

“I think in this race you can finish first – in this race – if you don’t make a lot of mistakes.”

Conte pointed out that the next opponents on Saturday, Brighton, are very tough and strong.
