Borussia Dortmund are planning to increase Jude Bellingham’s responsibility in an effort to ward off interest from Liverpool and Real Madrid, according to Bild.
Dortmund are keen to make Bellingham – who has impressed in Germany since arriving from Birmingham in 2020 - feel important and wanted amid continued speculation about his long-term future with the club.
Manchester United made a concerted effort to sign Bellingham from Birmingham two years ago and remain interested, while Chelsea have also been credited with interest in the England international.
Dortmund are bracing themselves to lose Erling Haaland in the summer transfer window, and don’t want to lose Bellingham at the same time.
