NNL: Mighty Jets suspend coach, Ogharandukwu


The Management of Nigeria National League side, Mighty Jets International FC of Jos has suspended the club’s coach, Tony Ogharandukwu.

The management said the coach was suspended because he traveled out without permission, describing his action as, “grossly unacceptable”.

The club, through its Director of Communications, Mbum Ferdinand, said, “The Management of Mighty Jets International FC of Jos has mandated the Club’s Technical Adviser, Coach Tony Ogharandukwu to step aside until Monday 4th April, 2022.”

Ferdinand said, “The coach had left the club and travelled out of town without permission and has brazenly directed that the team’s training sessions be halted until he arrives.”

According to him, “This behaviour is grossly unacceptable and must be addressed accordingly.

“Management will sit and take a far reaching decision which is expected to be in the best interest of the club.”

The club’s management has mandated the assistant coaches at the club to take charge until Monday, 4th April, 2022.
