Nigeria vs Ghana: Saraki advises Super Eagles ahead of next game

Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki has commended the Super Eagles for putting up a strong performance against Black Stars of Ghana.

Saraki said this while reacting to Nigeria’s 0-0 draw with Ghana on Friday night.

Recall that the Super Eagles held their host, Black Stars to a goalless draw in Friday’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff first leg fixture in Kumasi.

The Austine Eguavoen’s side were unlucky not to beat Ghana after missing some good chances during the encounter.

Saraki urged the Super Eagles to be at their best on Tuesday, as they play against the Black Stars in Ahuja.

His tweet read: “Strong performance by our @NGSuperEagles!

“Let’s wrap this up nicely on Tuesday when we have home advantage!”

Nigeria is expected to host Ghana on Tuesday, in the reverse fixture at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, in Abuja.

The winner of the two legs will qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later this year.
