EPL: He’s not trustworthy – Paul Parker warns Man United against signing Brazilian star

Former Manchester United defender, Paul Parker has warned the club against any move to sign Brazilian forward, Richarlison from Everton.

Parker sees the Olympic medalist as ‘lacking discipline’ and ‘not trustworthy’.

The uncertainty of Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United has sent the club into the transfer market, as the Portuguese international may leave if the Red Devils fail to secure Champions League football next season, with Edinson Cavani also likely to leave.

Marcus Rashford is also considering leaving Old Trafford with Anthony Martial, who is currently on loan to Sevilla, deemed surplus to requirements in January.

Goal reports United are now weighing a move for Brazil international, Richarlison, with Everton currently scrapping for Premier League survival.

Parker, however, insists the 27-year-old Brazil international is not a good fit for United.

“I don’t know who United will get as a manager, but Richarlison for me doesn’t really fit,” Parker told OddsNinja.

“If you have a manager who can discipline him, because I think he lacks discipline. He’s not trustworthy.

“[He] wants to fall down all the time. Gets too emotional and gets involved in personal battles against people on the pitch. I would say no. I can’t really think of something positive,” he said.
