EPL: Erik ten Hag’s first signing for Man United identified

 


Incoming Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag will bring with him, Brazilian Ajax winger, Antony to Old Trafford according to The Telegraph.

Manchester United hierarchy has interviewed Ten Hag with the Dutchman coach now the frontrunner to take over from Ralf Rangnick at Old Trafford.

Despite top. competition from PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino and Spain head coach, Luis Enrique, the 52-year-old is in line for the top job after making a big impression on the club in his formal interview.

The newspaper says that ten Hag will bring Anthony with him to Manchester United.

During his interview, the Dutchman asked about Manchester United’s vision and transfer budget.

The Telegraph says he would bring the Brazil international Anthony with him, with the 22-year-old having impressed enormously under at Ajax.

Antony has netted 10 goals and laid on 8 assists in 30 appearances across both the Eredivisie and Champions League this season after also registering 17 goal contributions in the league last season.

His performances since swapping Sao Paulo for Amsterdam have earned him plenty of admirers.
