Campbell names right manager to take over from Rangnick at Manchester United

Former Arsenal striker, Kevin Campbell has identified Paris Saint-Germain coach, Mauricio Pochettino as the right manager to succeed Ralf Rangnick at Old Trafford.

Campbell believes Pochettino is ‘ready-made’ for Man United, adding that he will get the best out of the Red Devils’ squad.

Rangnick was appointed as Manchester United interim manager last year following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The 63-year-old German agreed to a six months contract before he will then take up a two-year consultancy role at the club and speculation surrounding his successor has already begun.

“I think it is been geared towards Pochettino this whole time. Just the way he can get the whole club together and really galvanize the whole place, it would do Man United the world of good,” Campbell told Football Insider.

“He has really shown he can bring the kids through as well. There might well be better managers out there, but there is none better than Pochettino in terms of bringing through the kids and getting the best out of them. I think he is tailor-made for United.”
