AFCON 2021: Nigeria remains top of Group D as Sudan holds Guinea Bissau

Sudan drew 0-0 with Guinea-Bissau in the second Group D match played at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday.

The game between both teams was tight, with chances few and far in between.

However, Guinea-Bissau had the chance to take all three points, but Pele missed from the penalty spot.

They both have one point and are in second and third place behind Nigeria.

The Super Eagles earlier in the day, beat tournament favourites Egypt 1-0.

Leicester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, produced a stunning finish in the 30th minute, to ensure the three-time champions took maximum points.

Nigeria plays Sudan next on Saturday, while Egypt faces Guinea-Bissau.
