At least five countries have been eliminated from the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
They are Sudan, Guinea-Bissau, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and Ghana.
Ethiopia was able to muster only one point, behind Cameroon (7), Burkina Faso (4) and Cape Verde (4).
Zimbabwe bowed out of the tournament with three points, below Senegal (5), Guinea (4) and Malawi (4).
Debutants Comoros shocked Ghana 3-2 in their final group match, sending the Black Stars back home.
Sudan and Guinea-Bissau both finished with one point in Group D, with Nigeria claiming nine points and Egypt amassing six.
The four countries who record the best third-place finishes will also qualify for the knockout stages.
