Roy Keane names three clubs to be relegated this season

Manchester United legend, Roy Keane has named the three teams that would be relegated this season.

According to the Premier League legend, either Southampton or Watford would be relegated alongside Newcastle United and Norwich City this season.

Three teams with the lowest points from the Premier League will be relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Norwich City and Newcastle have recorded just 10 points from all their Premier League matches so far this season

Norwich have won just one league game all season.

Keane is also not convinced either Southampton, who are currently 15th, six points clear of the relegation zone at the moment or Watford, who are 17th, will join Newcastle and Norwich in the Championship next year.

Discussing relegation with former Manchester City defender, Micah Richards during their latest Driving Home for Christmas episode, Keane said, “I’ll tell you, I’m going to go Norwich, and I’m going to say Newcastle..”

Speaking on Southampton, the former United captain added, “They are a moody team, they can win two or three at home then lose six or seven. I’m going to say It’s between Southampton and Watford.”

“But even Burnley,” Keane said.

“But you know, Burnley could be one of them teams where because they have got out of it before.”
