Chelsea legend, John Terry welcomes Lewandowski to Premier League

Chelsea legend, John Terry has welcomed Bayern Munich striker, Robert Lewandowski, to play in the Premier League someday.

Terry uploaded a video on his Instagram story about Lewandowski scoring one of his two goals for Bayern Munich against Stuttgart on Tuesday night.

Recall that Bayern Munich defeated Stuttgart 5-0 in the Bundesliga encounter.

The former England defender captioned the film, “I would love to see this man in the Premier League.”

His verdict comes after Chelsea reportedly tried to tempt Lewandowski to Stamford Bridge during the summer transfer window while journalist Ian McGarry has said that the player’s agent has offered his services to Chelsea director, Marina Granovskaia, in the past.

“It is certainly the case that he (Zahavi) has offered Lewandowski to Chelsea and Granovskaia,” McGarry had said.

Lewandowski has been in great form so far this season.

The Poland international has scored 29 goals in 24 matches for Bayern Munich so far.
