Real Madrid waiting for encouragement to move for Man Utd midfielder Pogba

Real Madrid remain interested in Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

The 28-year-old suffered a thigh injury in training with France on Monday that could keep him out for the rest of 2021, with his current Red Devils deal running out in June next year.

Marca says Real are 'remaining attentive' over the next few months ahead of a possible approach.

He is said to have also attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain, former club Juventus and Xavi's Barcelona.

If a new deal is not agreed by the January transfer window, Pogba can speak to other clubs and sign a pre-contract agreement before moving next summer.

While Real have been heavily linked with Monaco sensation Aurelien Tchouameni, the 21-year-old is viewed as someone who can be nurtured into a regular starter - much like compatriot Eduardo Camavinga - while Pogba is already equipped to take on that responsibility.
