Nigeria vs Cape Verde: All you need to know about World Cup qualifier in Lagos

Nigeria will take on Cape Verde in their Group C fixture in the 2022 World Cup qualifying series.

The game will be played at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos, on Tuesday evening.

Gernot Rohr’s men won the reverse fixture 2-1 in September this year.

A win for the Super Eagles against Cape Verde today would boost their chances of progressing to the third round, where Africa’s five representatives will be chosen for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Nigeria is currently on top of the group with 12 points from five matches, while Cape Verde is in the second position with 10 points from the same number of games.

The kick-off time for the match is 5 pm and it will stream live on NFF’s official Facebook page and GOTV.
