Bayern Munich chief Salihamidzic admits 'talks not easy' with Newcastle target Sule

Sparta Rotterdam goalkeeper Maduka Okoye is excited to be joining Watford.

The Nigeria international will move formally to Watford at the end of the season, with the deal settled last week being a record for Sparta.

Watford could yet be relegated by the time Okoye joins up, but he says: "I'm not afraid of that. This team has a lot of quality. But of course it is the Premier League, the best competition in the world. I am now a big Watford supporter and hope they stay in the Premier League."

Before Okoye moves to London, he wants to end the season at Sparta Rotterdam as well as possible. He hopes to keep them in the Eredivisie.

"I want to end it nicely here and I am sure that we will remain in the Eredivisie," he added.
