Agent admits West Ham defender Alves Ibsen could leave Sunderland

West Ham defender Frederik Alves Ibsen could be on the move from loan club Sunderland.

Ibsen has found himself on the bench at Sunderland in recent weeks.

His agent, Christian Bysted, told bold: "It's not perfect that he does not start in League One. He plays all the cup matches, and it would have been an insanely good place to be if he played regularly in League 1. But he should preferably play more from the start.

"We have a dialogue with West Ham and Sunderland in relation to what the scenario is. Alves came to the club four games into the season where they had not conceded goals.

"They have a young midfielder from Manchester City who has been outstanding and the other is a Northern Irish national team player. They have done well, but for Frederik's development he should preferably play.

"So we are working on a solution, whatever it may be."
