Marina Granovskaia sets price limit for Real Madrid’s Hazard to return to Chelsea

Chelsea sporting director, Marina Granovskaia, has made it clear that the West London club will not go over a specific figure to bring back attacking midfielder, Eden Hazard, from Real Madrid.

According to Granovskaia, £34 million would be Chelsea’s limit to try and re-sign Hazard, either in the January or summer transfer windows, El Nacional reports.

Hazard has struggled to get on top form at Real after a series of injury issues since joining the LaLiga giants from Chelsea in 2019.

The 30-year-old is a Chelsea fan favourite and is likely to be welcomed back to Stamford Bridge with open arms.

Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich, is already keen on bringing Hazard back to the club.

Abramovich is “increasingly convinced” that the Belgium international will prove he is still one of the best players if he makes a return to the English Premier League.

Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel, already admitted he was a big fan of Hazard before last season’s UEFA Champions League semi-final clash between Chelsea and Real Madrid.

It is believed Real Madrid are looking to offload Hazard next year.
