Man Utd vs Liverpool: Solskjaer’s squad for EPL clash confirmed

The Manchester United duo of Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford are among the players that checked into The Lowry Hotel on Saturday, ahead of today’s clash with Liverpool.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had said earlier in the week that the two players are in doubt for the game, after they picked up knocks in their Champions League fixture in midweek.

Rashford scored against Atalanta on Wednesday before suffering a dead leg.

Fernandes played the entire 90 minutes in the 3-2 win over the Italian club, but Solskjaer admitted he was a “doubt” for the visit of the Reds.

Like Rashford and Fernandes, midfielder Fred is facing a late fitness test before he can be involved against Liverpool due to a thigh injury.

Among those who also appeared to be absent from The Lowry Hotel were Raphael Varane, Dean Henderson, Alex Telles, Juan Mata and Anthony Martial.
