EPL: Tuchel names Chelsea Player ‘very hard’ to Drop from Squad

Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel, has identified Mason Mount as the Blues player that is ‘very hard’ to leave out of his team.

Tuchel stated this ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening.

Mount established himself as a key player under former Chelsea manager, Frank Lampard, and continued to impress under Tuchel.

“We were very careful with him in pre-season, he [Mason Mount] didn’t start the game against Villarreal [in the UEFA Super Cup win] and then he started against Crystal Palace [in the Premier League] straight away,” Tuchel told Chelsea’s official website.

“Sometimes we’re a bit worried but on the other side he seems to deal so good with all the minutes and all the load that he has that it is sometimes very hard to leave him out because he looks fresh, he comes with a smile.

“I would be more concerned if his face was straight and you feel some fatigue also mentally, but I don’t feel it.

“We’re happy that he is here and we will be careful like always with him.”
