Transfer: Real Madrid ‘ban’ Kylian Mbappe

Real Madrid have ‘banned’ any talk of Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe, inside the club until January when they will try and tie down the France international to a pre-contract agreement ahead of next summer transfer window.

According to El Chiringuito, Real Madrid banned any inside discussion of Mbappe, even within the club’s facilities, including in corridors which seems incredibly specific.

The motive behind the ‘Mbappé ban’ is said to be so that Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, and his players can focus fully on this current season without any distractions.

Mbappe has rejected talks to extend his contract with PSG.

The 22-year-old has only one year left on his current deal with PSG and he is expected to join Real Madrid next summer.

PSG recently rejected Real Madrid’s €220million [£189m] deadline day bid for Mbappe despite the player’s contract expiring in a year.

Mbappe joined PSG on a permanent basis from Monaco in 2018.
