Crystal Palace vs Brighton: Graham Potter’s Men Set to go top of EPL

For all the talk of the Manchester clubs, Chelsea and Liverpool being title contenders, Brighton could be leading the way by 10pm Monday night.

Graham Potter’s men have the chance to climb to the summit, following the dramatic results over the weekend.

Champions Manchester City hauled themselves back into the title race with an impressive 1-0 win at Chelsea in Saturday’s early kick-off.

As Pep Guardiola’s men celebrated a crucial rival over one of their major rivals in London, back in Manchester, Aston Villa had defeated Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford.

Liverpool had the chance to open up a three-point gap at the top later in the evening, but the Reds could only play out a thrilling 3-3 draw at Brentford.

Brighton travels to Crystal Palace in sixth place with 12 points. So far, they have recorded four wins and one defeat.

A win against Patrick Vieira’s men will take them up to 15 points and above everyone else.

But it won’t be easy. This is a Derby. And Palace will be eager to give a good account of themselves in front of their fans at Selhurst Park.
