Lukaku reveals Chelsea player that must ‘keep pushing’

Chelsea striker, Romelu Lukaku, has told teammate, Trevoh Chalobah, that he must ‘keep pushing’ after establishing himself in the club’s first team.

Chalobah scored from outside the eighteen-box in Chelsea’s Premier League 3-0 win against Crystal Palace last weekend.

But Lukaku believes the defender seized his opportunity to be part of Thomas Tuchel’s squad.

“It was such a great strike,” Lukaku told Chelsea’s website when asked about Chalobah’s incredible goal-scoring Premier League debut against Crystal Palace.

“But you know what, I think he has been here since he was nine years old, so to see him gradually coming up and then going on loan, coming back and now he’s just seizing his opportunity.

“In the Super Cup, he was amazing and now in the league game, he was amazing as well.

“So he has to keep pushing. Also, the goal was like the cherry on top of the cake.”
