Manchester City Coach Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Striker Sergio Aguero's injury against Chelsea yesterday does not look good. City defeated the Blues 2-1 at the Etihad to pip Frank Lamaprd’s in-form side to third place and remain nine points behind leaders Liverpool.
However, Guardiola’s injury crisis continued as Aguero limped outafter 77 minutes with what appears to be a muscular injury.
The Spaniard claimed that there will be no news until Sunday but early indications don’t look promising.
Guardiola said after the match: ”Hopefully we'll know tomorrow, but the first indication is not good. A muscular injury."
This comes as a significant blow for City as Aguero is their top scorer in the Premier League with nine goals in 11 appearances.

The Argentina international played a big part in the back-to-back champions’ impressive victory against Chelsea, even though he didn’t find the target.
The Blues opened the scoring after 21 minutes with N’Golo Kante following a brilliant cross by Mateo Kovacic.
But Kevin De Bruyne equalised after just eight minutes after the ball took a small deflection on Jorginho.
Riyad Mahrez turned things around shortly before half-time thanks to a brilliant run from the right wing.
