What Sarri Said About De Gea’s Error, Rojo’s Tackle on Willian, Chelsea’s Top 4 fight

Chelsea boss, Maurizio Sarri, has said that the error made by Manchester United goalkeeper, David De Gea, can happen to anyone, even the best.

According to him, “De Gea’s error can happen because even the best make errors.”

De Gea was unable to hold Antonio Rudiger’s shot from outside the eighteen yard box, allowing Marcos Alonso to slot in the rebound.

Alonso’s goal put Chelsea level after Juan Mata had fired United in front.

Sarri also said that Rudiger’s injury situation “is most serious of injury worries today because of his knee.

“Willian may only be a knock. He could be back for Frankfurt on Thursday, but Rudiger almost certain to be out.”

Sarri says he has no idea whether Eden Hazard will stay at Stamford Bridge. But says he is only concerned with his form right now, which is very good.

Marcos Rojo was shown a yellow card for a tackle on Willian, and reacting to this, Sarri said that Rojo deserved an “orange” card, adding that yellow was not enough for the foul.

Sarri also told Sky Sports that his side still have to win last two matches to be certain of top 4 finish.

Sarri added that Chelsea “struggled in first 25 minutes because they could not link up with Higuain.

“We were in trouble but coped better in the second half.”
