Floyd Mayweather vs Tenshin Nasukawa: Mayweather Wins By Technical Knock-Out



Mayweather Defeats Nasukawa In Exhibition Match

American boxer and boxing promoter, Floyd Mayweather came out of retirement to defeat Japanese kickboxer, Tenshim Nasukawa by technical knockout on new year’s eve.


The bout was an exhibition match but Naija News understands Mayweather pocketed as much as $9m dollars from the match which brought him out of retirement, though the official prize has not been declared.

“It was all about entertainment – we had a lot of fun.”

Mayweather reportedly defeated Nasukawa, three times in the first round of the three-round contest before the Japanese kickboxer’s trainer rushed in to stop the fight.

The bout which held in Saitama, north of Tokyo, will have no effect on the record of either fighter and therefore allows both men to retain their unbeaten records.



Mayweather, has a perfect 50 in and zero defeats record with 27 knockouts while the Japanese kickboxer, Nasukawa who made his professional kickboxing debut at the age of 16, also has a 28-0 record with 21 wins by knockout.
