The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have announced the passing of former Super Falcons midfielder Ajuma Ameh-Otache who died at the age of 33.
Ameh-Otache won the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AWCON) with the Super Falcons of Nigeria in 2004 and also the country at both the Olympic games and the Africa Games in the same year.
"We are sad to hear of the sudden passing of former Nigeria midfielder, African Women's Championship winner, Olympian, Ajuma Otache who passed on Saturday," the NFF announced on Twitter.
