Usain Bolt Turns Down Offer To Move To Malta And Play For Valletta

0

Usain Bolt has turned down a two-year offer to play for Valletta in the Maltese Premier League.

The former athlete scored twice in his latest trial match for Central Coast Mariners and his agent claims there has been a lot of interest from other clubs.

Bolt's agent, however, has confirmed that his client will not take up the offer of moving to the Maltese capital.

'There is a lot of interest in Usain playing football,' Ricky Simms told ESPN. 'We regularly receive similar approaches. I can confirm Usain does not wish to pursue this opportunity in Malta.'
