Former Chelsea players Cech, Luiz, Willian went to Arsenal as Agents – Drogba

Chelsea legend, Didier Drogba, has claimed some of the club’s former players who joined Arsenal were agents.

Drogba hailed Willian, who left the Emirates this summer with the Gunners bottom of the Premier League, telling him his “mission” had been successful.

Willian left Stamford Bridge last summer on a free transfer and agreed a £220,000-a-week salary with Arsenal.

The Brazilian, like many players who have swapped the Blues for the Emirates, endured a rather disappointing career with the Gunners.

He netted just one Premier League goal throughout the 2020/2021 season and was a mainstay in Mikel Arteta’s side that failed to qualify for Europe for the first time in over two decades.

Now Drogba has opted to twist the knife, bringing up other Chelsea legends who have been part of Arsenal’s recent decline and congratulating Willian on completing his ‘mission’.

The Ivorian wrote on Twitter: “Thank you agent Willian, your mission is over, like David Luiz and Peter Cech.”
