Champions League: Ronaldo in Man Utd’s squad to face Young Boys

Cristiano Ronaldo has flown out with the Manchester United squad on Monday, ahead of their Champions League fixture against Young Boys.

The Red Devils begin their quest for continental glory, with an away group game against the Swiss club.

Ronaldo, who scored twice on his second debut against Newcastle, was spotted among those travelling.

This comes amid Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s comments that the 36-year-old will be rested for some of their games.

Solskjaer had said: “No, it’s not impossible to leave him out. He is 36.

“Mason (Greenwood) is 19, so it’s the same. I have to manage his minutes and I have to manage a 36-year-old’s minutes as well.”

Ronaldo might come off the bench during the game, as Solskjaer wraps him in wool ahead of their trip to West Ham this weekend.
