Crystal Palace boss, Patrick Vieira, has predicted the position Chelsea will finish in the English Premier League this season.
Chelsea began their 2021/22 Premier League campaign with a 3-0 win against Crystal Palace over the weekend.
Thomas Tuchel’s side finished fourth on the Premier League table last season behind Liverpool, Man United and champions Manchester City.
But Vieira expects Chelsea to be one of the top three title contenders to win the Premier League title this season.
“It was a very tough start but obviously we have to play them,” Vieira said at his post-match press conference.
“Obviously, Chelsea, with the squad that they have, the money they have spent, they will be there fighting for the title. I think Chelsea will be in the top three teams who can win the Premier League.”
Chelsea will travel to the Emirates Stadium to take on Arsenal in their next Premier League game on August 22.
