Varane accepts Man Utd contract offer; targets day one of Ole's preseason

Manchester United have had their contract offer accepted by Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane.

The France international is eager to leave the Bernabeu for a new challenge this summer with his deal now having less than a year to run.

ABC reports Varane has agreed personal terms with United, with the 2018 World Cup winner poised to pocket £10million a year once the transfer officially goes through.

It's also claimed the player wants everything sorted within the next two weeks so he can link up with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side for pre-season training.

And, now, it's just a matter of time before United make a breakthrough with Real in negotiations.
