Simy Bags Brace, Nets 18th Serie A Goal As Crotone Beat Parma Away To End Winless Run 

 

Simeon ‘Simy’ Nwankwo continued his impressive form in front of goal as he netted a brace in Crotone’s 4-3 win at Parma, in the Serie A on Saturday, Rushhoursport.com reports.

Prior to Saturday’s game Crotone had lost their last six league games.

Nwankwo scored in the 42nd minute to put Crotone 2-1 ahead before making it 4-3 from the penalty spot on 69 minutes.

He has now scored five goals in his last five games and has taken his league goals to 18 in 33 games this season.

Also, he is joint-third on the top scorers chart behind Cristiano Ronaldo (25 goals) and Romelu Lukaku  (21 goals).

Despite the win at Parma, Crotone are still rooted bottom in the league table on 18 points.
