Sergio Ramos Tests Positive For COVID-19

 

Spanish Professional Football Club, Real Madrid has revealed that its defender, Sergio Ramos has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.

This was revealed on the official website of the football club as the player is out of their upcoming match with Liverpool on Wednesday, 14 April 2021.

Ramos was also absent from his team’s weekend win over fierce rivals Barcelona, which placed them in a strong position to defend their league title.

The Spanish giants won 3-1 thanks to a brace from Vinicius Junior and Marcos Asensio, who are both in excellent form ahead of tomorrow’s match at Anfield.
Meanwhile, the Grid Company Limited(GRIDCo) has explained the reason behind the sudden power outages in the country yesterday.

In a statement release, the company revealed that there was fault on the Aboadze-Anwomaso transmission lines which led to the loss of supply to some parts of Ghana.

The statement further revealed that the technical team was quickly deployed to initiate restoration efforts and they succeeded in fixing the transmission network in 30mins.

GRIDCo also revealed that it is working with relevant players in the generation and distribution chain to resume power transmission to all affected areas.

However, GRIDCo has reiterated that the country is not reversing back to its power outage days (Dumsor) as they work effectively to resolve all challenges in restoring power permanently.
