Real Madrid President Puts Gareth Bale on ‘Blacklist’

Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, has put Gareth Bale on a ‘blacklist’ after deciding he doesn’t want the player at the club next season, according to Sport.

Bale has spoken about his desire to return to Spain after his loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur ends.

The Welshman has endured a torrid return to the Premier League club under Jose Mourinho.

Bale struggled to recover from an injury and despite working his way back into the side and getting among the goals, he was dropped after a poor showing against Arsenal and hasn’t started a league game since.

But he could end up in limbo at the end of the season, with Madrid eager to offload him in the summer.

It is understood Perez has placed Bale on a ‘blacklist of players he doesn’t want at the club.

Los Blancos manager, Zinedine Zidane, is unlikely to contest the decision, having effectively decided he didn’t want him at the club last year.
