Man Utd Suffer Big Injury Blow after Brighton win Ahead of Granada Clash

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has admitted he was forced to withdraw Marcus Rashford during their 2-1 victory over Brighton due to an injury concern.

Rashford made it 1-1 after former United forward Danny Welbeck gave Brighton an early lead.

Mason Greenwood sealed the comeback win with an 83rd-minute header, but Rashford was already off the pitch having been replaced by Daniel James.

Speaking after the victory, Solskjaer said: “I’m not sure. He got caught with a tackle so he had to come off.

“Let’s see how he goes again. Marcus doesn’t want to miss any games or any minutes, but he had to come off.

“It’s one of them again. Your fingers are crossed and you hope he’s going to recover from it. He had to come off but he’s a tough one.”

Rashford is now a doubt for Manchester United’s Europa League quarter-final tie with Granada, with the first leg due this Thursday.
