Mike Tyson Confirms Second Comeback Fight - Date And Location Set

Boxing legend Mike Tyson has confirmed his second comeback fight, claiming he'll fight on May 29 in Miami.

Tyson, 54, made a spectacular return to boxing last year after fighting fellow icon Roy Jones Jr to a draw.

And the former world heavyweight champion plans to continue his comeback by having another fight, targetting a bout at the end of May in Florida.

While he hasn't revealed who his next opponent will be, he has given both a date and location as to when fans can expect him back in action.

Speaking on his podcast with guest Canelo Alvarez, he said: "May 29th something like that," while adding: "The same arena you fought in."

Canelo is fresh off beating mandatory challenger Avni Yıldırım at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Tyson returned to the squared circle with an exhibition at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

He'll now venture to The Sunshine State for his second comeback fight.

Tyson's clash against Jones Jr was his first foray into boxing since 2005.

And reflecting on his contest, he explained: "I felt better than I anticipated.

"I thought I would be a little more nervous than I was, but I was relaxed. I felt like 'wow' - I could do some more, I could punch more combinations, I could do this and do that.

"I said 'wow, this is interesting' and I want to do it again and I want to do it against someone I could go all out on.

"It made me interested in wanting to do it again. I wanted to go the distance, I didn't want to knock anybody out. That's what people expected, but I wanted to go the distance."

Tyson has been linked with a blockbuster trilogy against long-time rival Evander Holyfield, who is preparing his own comeback.
