Solskjaer Reveals his Conversation with Referees Over David Luiz’s Red card

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has revealed he spoke with the referees in charge of their game against Southampton, about David Luiz’s sending off at Wolves.

Luiz was shown a straight red card in the first half of Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat at the Molineux.

The Brazilian was adjudged to have tripped Willian Jose inside the box.

Solskjaer has now said he didn’t think Luiz should have been sent off.

“I had a discussion with the referees before the game (Southampton) and just asked them about the David Luiz sending off.

“I didn’t think he should’ve been sent off and Bednarek (Southampton player) definitely shouldn’t have been sent off,” he said.
