Solskjaer Admits Man Utd Have not Offered him new Contract

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, says nobody at the club has spoken to him about a new contract.

Solskjaer agreed to a three-year deal with the Red Devils in May 2019.

The current contract expires at the end of next season.

This season has been a rollercoaster for the Norwegian, who has battled back from talks over a crisis to move United to the top of the Premier League.

However, they are presently in second place behind Manchester City while earlier in the season, the Red Devils were sent crashing out of the Champions League at the group stage.

But talk has now turned to Solskjaer’s contract, which will have one year to run by June 2021.

He told VG when asked about the situation: “I have not thought about that and we have not discussed it at all.

“I am just focusing on doing my job and, as you say, part of the job is to stabilize things.

“We have a job to do in order to find consistency on the pitch. Outside the pitch, it is still a crisis if you lose a game.”
